VOGA debuts at the South Florida International Autoshow |
| But wait, didn't Mercury do this last year with the
Mercury Milan? In May of 2006, Ford introduced this one
of a kind Milan at Fashion Week in Miami. The VOGA Milan
was designed by Camilo Pardo(Ford GT designer) to show
off a slice of Ford's style to a Hispanic demographic. Now
Mercury has it's Mariner VOGA edition. The difference
between the Mariner and Milan is that the Mariner wont be
one of a kind.

 |
The new VOGA Mariner will be a higher
end trim to go on sale in 2008.
The Mariner VOGA will include the same great host of
features as the Mariner Premier edition, offering one of
the most advanced safety packages in the compact SUV
segment with standard side curtain air bags and
AdvanceTracŪ with RSCŪ. It also delivers fuel economy
up to 24 miles per gallon.
|
| If the VOGA Mariner is a hit, what is
stopping Mercury from giving the VOGA Milan a green light?
Bare in mind that the one-of-a-kind 2006 Mercury Milan
VOGA can remain unique, and the production trim could
bring Milan owners and potential buyers a flurry of new
options from the dealer. It may become a serious
possibility for the next generation Milan. Feel free to
comment about you're views on Mercury pushing a VOGA
Milan.
